The Mummy Returns (2001) 1080p HDDVDRip H264 AAC-12 A very strong and enjoyable movie released in 2001 The movie stars Brendan Fraser as Rick O'Connell who has been living a cursed life all of his adult life. From the moment of his birth, he has been cursed by a sandstorm that enveloped him making it impossible for him to be with his parents at the time. Instead they died from an accident causing Rick to live with relatives until he was old enough to move on. His new life begins nicely until a mysterious man named Imhotep comes into the picture and causes his life to be a living hell. Rick's son Alex O'Connell is really struggling with his new life as a teenager. He has been living in America with his mother Evelyn O'Connell but something about her doesn't sit right with him. He feels as if she has been keeping secrets from him which is true, she was trying to keep him protected from the curse that now plagues his father Rick. He accepts a job as an archaeologist and they go on a dig and find the urn where Rick was held prisoner for so many years. Rick is surprised to find out that his parents were urn holders and he wants to open it... It is far from urn holders but an ancient queen who was killed by Imhotep thousands of years ago. Imhotep followed her into death after she had cursed him. He returns from the grave from which he was made sick by one of the guards who helps Alex kill him. Alex then gives his father a new necklace that allows him to breathe through his skin, nothing else. Soon enough they find themselves on a quest to bring him back from death and along the way they meet up with some more great characters, such as Ardeth Bay and Jonathan, the two men who helped Rick defeat Imhotep this time around. Rick and his new friends must defeat Imhotep once again before he destroys the world.
